James B. Hoffman, PE
James Hoffman has over 40 years experience in the planning, design and implementation of energy management systems. Mr. Hoffman started Hoffman Engineering Consultants, LLC in 1993 after retiring from the Pentagon as a Navy Captain. The firm has provided energy management programs which include contracts for energy system upgrades at NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center, co-generation facility planning and design at Reagan National Airport and the Central Intelligence Agency. HEC has supported chiller plant system upgrades for Hartford Hospital, Jamaica Hospital Center, Marriott Hotels and the first solar thermal hot water generation system for a hospital in New England.
